My passion for real estate was born out of my own housing search. The buying process has so many facets that I enjoyed – the initial search, the diligence on the property and the negotiation – I was hooked! Since then I have been involved with over 55 transactions. Buying or selling a home can be an emotional and stressful process. I approach transactions in a level-headed, practical and highly analytical way to best serve my clients' needs.
I moved to the Bay Area from my home state of Tennessee in 2006. I was a professional cyclist in pursuit of mild winters and a great roads to train on. What I found – the striking beauty of the Pacific coastline, brilliant people with an energy to make things happen and a year round bounty of amazing, locally grown foods – made me want to stay and call the Bay Area home.
After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a BA in History, I spent six years racing with several professional teams domestically and with the US National team in Europe. The bike continues to be an important part of my life; I love riding up and down the peninsula with my partner Ali and other friends from the cycling community. When I am not out with clients or on my bike, I try to spend as much time tending to my garden (and chickens!) at our Portola Valley home.
