Lee Lin

Founder and CEO, RentHop
Lee Lin is the founder and CEO of RentHop.com, an apartment rental startup funded by Y Combinator that disrupted the broker-dominated New York City rental scene before expanding nationwide.  RentHop has been featured in the Harvard Business School case study "Killing Craigslist: Entrepreneurship in the Online Economy," and Lee speaks each year at the university about the company's experiences competing against Craigslist, cracking the chicken and egg problem, and monetizing traffic from online real estate portals.

Lee is a self-described data geek from MIT who spent years at quantitative hedge funds cranking out models to explain and predict financial markets.  At RentHop, he applies the same data-driven modeling approach to uncover the highest quality apartment deals in each neighborhood.
